The End of the Year

Hey kids!

So the semester is finally coming to an end and I could not be more sad. This past Monday was Trinity University Player's Banquet, or more simply known as the Drama Banquet. The evening is full of silly superlatives as well as respectful acknowledgement awards for all of the senior Drama majors, followed by a dance party afterwards. This year I have gotten to know many of our senior Drama majors really well and will miss a lot of them. I can't help but sit here and think that I am now halfway done with college and I will soon enough be that senior that is being remembered. It is amazing how fast time flies, but I am so glad that I have spent it this year really getting involved in the Drama department and getting to know so many awesome people!

What is next for me is traveling to Florence, Italy this next semester where I will be studying film as well as seing many many Italian plays. I am still in awe that I am going, but truly cannot wait. I highly recommend all students taking an opportunity to study abroad. I believe that I have much to learn next semester not only about the country I will be living in, but myself as well. So good luck to everyone next semester! And keep auditioning!
