What's New

Hey theatre friends! These past couple of weeks have been quite hectic. The production of the Misanthrope has begun rehearsing! My involvement for the semester in the department has begun. Being cast as a small role, Du Bois, I have managed to finally get my feet wet acting in the department's final show of the year. This unfortunately is the time of the year when all the professors pile on the work for the end of the semester. So to say the least, these next couple of weeks might be a tad stressful. Today begins the start of "hell week" where the cast has dress rehearsals every night leading up to opening night on Friday. So it will be nice to finally see the finished product of what we have been working on these past few weeks.

Other exciting news! John Cleese is coming tomorrow to Trinity and I am super pumped! Cleese, the British actor/comedian is known most commonly for starring in Monty Python--a cult classic for many Americans as well as Brits. He is giving a special lecture for Drama students only. The Drama department rarely gets their own special guest speaker, so this is quite a special treat.

If you couldn't tell already, this will probably be a very busy week! Wish me luck!
