What's Next

Hey guys! So this past week has been quite exciting! I just finished the final weekend of The Misanthrope this past weekend. Saturday night was closing night and yesterday was strike. Strike takes place always the day after a show closes. What we do is come to the theater, and take down the set and put away all of the costumes and props. It's traditionally a fairly nostalgic day where the cast and crew reflect on how much they enjoyed working on a show. This production definitely had a nostalgic strike. It was heartbreaking watching the beautiful set that so many people had worked on just come falling down so quickly. The place that we had made our home for the past six weeks now looked completely different.

So what's next? A lot! We recently had elections for our Drama club, TUPS. I was elected Junior class representative, and I hope to help make many improvements to the club this year. We have also found out the shows that we will be putting on next year: Urinetown, The Real Inspector Hound, Blood Wedding, Harlequin: The Servant of Two Masters.

Picture of some of the fabulous cast!
